Learn How To Surf After The Health Crisis

April 2, 2020

We started this year of 2020 with a very serious health crisis. With the instructions to stay inside we also have the opportunity to look within and think about what we want for ourselves after this pandemic is over.

One thing is for sure, with the current measures to stay safe we are all missing the contact with nature, socializing and being productive. And, a great way to be productive is to make plans for when this crisis ends.

As it is our area of expertise we suggest you take on a new challenge to include a sport in your life that keeps your body, mind and soul healthy.

If you do not already know how to surf then it’s time to learn. Here’s why:

#1 It’s Very Exciting

If you want to challenge yourself then surfing can be your next stop. This extremely fun activity is suitable for both genders and can be a lot of fun to play.

It is an unique experience, especially when shared with the ones we love. We will offer private and semi-private lessons at Pacific Surf  when we open our doors again, to keep everyone healthy and safe.

#2 It Will Help You Bond

Surfing is truly a great way to bond and overcome challenges with the ones you love. Sharing this experience can bring you closer to the person that is living it with you.

We are all missing interaction and contact with friends and family, learning how to surf can be a great way to reconnect and share a new adventure.

#3 Contact With Nature

During this crisis I bet we are all missing being in nature, whether it is being at the beach or on the mountains the body releases endorphins when in contact with nature. The results are even better when combined with a sport.

#4 It’s Good for Your Physical and Mental Health

Surfing is an all-body exercise. It works on different parts of the body and can help people gain strength and lose weight. It’s a fun way to stay fit without having to put extra pressure on your body.

We know that a lot of people are dealing with anxiety during this time due to the uncertainty that is surrounding us. Surfing is a sport that does a great job at relieving anxiety, it makes your body relaxed and alert at the same time releasing different types of hormones that are beneficial to a better mood and a better self esteem.

When this health crisis passes we invite you to celebrate life and learn to surf with Pacific Surf School in San Diego. We will be taking all measures to keep safe during the process with private and semi-private surf lessons only, until it is all back to normal.
