It’s true. every inch of San Diego coastline has its own beauty and has also been chosen by generations of surfers as one of their favorite spots to catch waves. La Jolla is no different. The sandy beach is one of the most beautiful and fun places to be. So if fun is what you are looking for, our surf school is the right place to be! You won’t regret combining surf lessons, La Jolla’s best outdoor activities and an incredible sunset!
The large range of activities available makes it the perfect place to spend the day out exploring and learning to surf. The grassy area and picnic tables are perfect to rest and relax after your 90 minute surf lesson session. To continue playing around, kayaking, boating, and scuba diving are some of the go-to options for a day full of action. Downtown La Jolla is only a five minute walk from the shores and there you can find plenty of restaurants, shops, and more entertainment.
Where to stay
From local hotels with easy access to the beach to global options like the Marriott, it will not be hard to find the right place to stay. A great alternative could be the La Jolla Cove Suites offering beachfront access, suites with kitchens and complimentary breakfast. This is the perfect way to start your day and dive right into your private surf lesson in La Jolla or finish your day watching the sun go down.
Although La Jolla Shores offers a large parking lot and free parking on adjacent residential streets, in the summertime, finding a spot can still be a hard task. A little extra planning can go a long way toward finding a good parking space to arrive on time for this amazing surf camp experience!
To make your experience and your day even more pleasant, don’t forget:
Towel, hat, sunscreen, sunglasses, a bottle of water, a warm sweater and to wear your swimsuit beneath your clothing.
